1993

Graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) Medical School.

1995

Joined military service as a regular RSAF  medical officer and obtained postgraduate qualifications to be appointmented as RSAF Flight Surgeon

1997

Participated in Search & Rescue mission for SilkAir MI185 Crash in Palembang, Indonesia

2000

Led the Aeromedical Evacution for severe casualties of SQ006 Crash

2000

Led SAF's Blue Heron medical team 4 in the UN military hospital in East Timor during pre-independence tumultuous period

2003

Returned to clinical practise, specialising in Pediatric Ophthalmology

2006

Elected as PAP Member of Parliament for Ang Mo Kio GRC

2014

Appointed as Minister of State for Health

2017

Promoted to Senior Minister of State for Health & Transport
